Hello everyone,

I have been asked to appear on tv in an interview on this issue. At first I
thought "What, don't they have anything else to talk about? Why do they
pick the far out topics when they discuss breastfeeding?" and "Why me, as
despite the recent posting, I actually have not breastfed any babies and
this seems to be a topic to discuss with a nursing mother". But the
producer of the show is hepped up on the idea, because his wife, who is
nursing a 17 month old, I think it was, was feeling guilty and concerned
about some erotic thoughts she had while nursing. And I figured, perhaps
better me than someone who will go on tv and imply that women love
breastfeeding because they "get off on it". And of course, I have been
assured that it will all be at an elevated level and serious. So now I'm
stuck with this. Taping is on Friday. Any insights on this, and whether
the pleasurable feelings some mothers have while nursing could be classified
as "sexual" will be appreciated. Of course, what is sexual is a question of
definition. If one defines sexual as "any physical contact between two
people which expresses love", then I guess breastfeeding could fit the bill.
