I'm passing this on for a colleague who isn't on Lactnet right now.
Could you answer directly to her as well as to the list?

Could anyone share pros / cons on the use of Lily Padz.

They are a no leak, soft, flexible, self-adhesive protection,100%
breathable silicon breast cover. They aren't an absorbable pad but a thin
piece of silicon. They work on the concept that slight pressure on the
nipple stops leakage. They look interesting but I am interested in what
anyone has seen related to thrush and bacterial infection?

My questions are:

1. Should they be worn with cracked & bleeding nipples
2. Do they increase bacteria growth
3. Is there any irritation to the breast from the product
4. How long should you where them ( doesn't the breast need to dry to
prevent sore nipples?
5. Thrush ( is it more prevalent while using Lily Padz and should you
quit using them if thrush is present )

Call the company at 800-640-LiLY and they will send you samples and
promotion information. They said they plan to be at the ILCA conference
'04.

Thanks for sharing your information.
