Kerrie, if you go to www.breastfeedingonline.com, to Jack Newman's MD's
info on yeast, or to Tom Hale Ph'd's book Medications in Mothers' Milk, you
will see that Diflucan, for ductal thrush infections, is given for longer
than a week, usually. Dr. Newman states that it takes one week of Diflucan
PAST the time the mother is pain free, and Tom Hale states, I believe, a
2-3 week treatment.
