Dear Yael,

LLLI's Breastfeeding Answer Book has info on prolactin. On page 455 under
the section "Cardiac Problems or Hypertension" it says, " The milk
producing hormone, prolactin, relaxes and soothes the breastfeeding
mother, which may be of particular benefit to the woman with cardiac
problems or hypertension."
