Dear Tina, I had a nurse that had four breast surgeries, she had breastfeed
her first baby without difficulties, but inbetween 2-3 she had the lumps
removed. She was told she couldn"t breastfeed. However when her breast
leaked, she was told she couldn't produce enought to"not bother". With
number three the pediatrician told her to talk to me, she felt she should
try. We did, and she breastfeed for over a year. I do believe it has to be
a wait and see, of course put the baby to breast, and see if
she has milk transfer. sincerely Martha Rhea, IBCLC
