It was my understanding that the edema would result from upregulation of ADH
receptors, which would cause a greater response to circulating ADH. Greater
response = more conservation of water. I would assume that overhydration
would be on top of this.

I touched on this with Dr. Craig as we discussed syntocinon. Some is good,
too much is bad. I'm recalling what we've heard about rebound effect with
syntocinon.....
