The drugs are fine for the baby.  Because, as you said, they are not
available to get into the milk (most of the hormones are too big).

The evidence does not suggest that nursing an 18 month old, under the usual
circumstances, increases the risk of the pregnancy not continuing.  But in
these somewhat extraordinary situations, it is difficult to know and speak
with assurance.  Why does the mother not delay the procedure?
