i have a microscopic colitis (collagenous colitis), which also went
into remission during pregnancy and re-appeared 3 months pp, almost
exactly the same time my period came back. although CC is not as bad
as UC or MC, it's still no fun. but i decided to stay off medication,
as i don't like how i feel under corticoids.

but with MC i might feel different about it. and i know of mothers who
breastfed just fine with budenosid.

hth,

nina

Because the Medieval Church, with the support of kings, princes and
secular authorities, controlled medical education and practice, the
Inquisition constitutes, among other things, an early instance of the
"professional" repudiating the skills and interfering with the rights
of the "nonprofessional" to minister to the poor. -Thomas Szasz, The
Manufacture of Madness-
