A mom of a 10 month old had a needle biopsy done on Monday and
reports leaking from the site with every let down. She is wondering
how long this might last and are there any concerns or ways to
reduce the leaking.
I've never run into this before. My first reaction is that it's no
big deal and I would expect it would seal off and heal, but I have
no idea how soon. Would pressing on or lightly pinching the site
while nursing reduce the leaking?
I searched the archives and while there was a lot about needle
biopsies, none of the posts addressed these questions.
