Sadly, we are going to "research" and "study" ourselves into a corner. In
our fear of not looking like scientist we are going to negate most of what
we know from centuries of experience and common sense. And we lay ourselves
open to every "study" that shows the hazards of breastmilk and
breastfeeding--every August.

Much of Wisdom cannot be proven by our modern scientific standards.

Pat Gima, IBCLC
Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where I am not going to wait for a study that shows
that my hugging my daughter every morning as she goes off to work helps her
to have a better day--and me too.
