From Thomas Hale's Medications and Mother's Milk, 2006, p. 407:

Glimepiride is rated L4, possibly hazardous. To summarize, no data are
available on transfer into human milk, but rodent studies demonstrate
significant transfer and elevated plasma levels in pups. Caution is urged in
breastfeeding humans. Observe for hypoglycemia.

If you don't already have it, the Hale book is really indispensable for
anyone working with mothers and babies.
