I agree that short notes, trying to keep to one or at most 2 pages, might be 
read.  I can guarantee that anything longer will be ignored/set aside/filed. 
I like someone else's idea about bulleting important points.
I also agree that if a client chooses to call me for help, then I need to 
communicate with her primary or baby's (depending on the problem), whether 
or not they have been having difficulties with the HCP (for lack of 
attention, lack of knowledge etc.)  Free country, free speech etc.  Parents 
are autonomous.   Pat in SNJ
