Oversupply and colitis go together. If she is able to get a handle on
her supply, and get the baby a better balance of lactose rich and fat
rich milk, the gut will heal.
There are lots of posts in the archives on how to help her space out
breast switching so that the baby gets more fat. She can try eating new
things that she has never eaten before, so that she doesn't feel like
she can't eat anything. The formula during the hospitalization at day 3
probably sensitized the little guy.
