Does anyone out there have the reference for the article reporting a case of
lung abscess in an infant whose mother had a breast abscess and was
breastfeeding?

Also, does anyone know whether it really is true that pus in milk will not
soak into a piece of cotton, but will sit on the surface, while milk will be
absorbed, so that this could be used instead of a laboratory test, to check
for the presence of pus in milk?

Is there any reason to think that pus in milk is a sure sign that there is
an abscess draining into a lactiferous sinus or duct?

An inquiring mind wants to know.
