Dear Netters, I am on sick leave and the hospital nursery nurse called.
A mother was placed on Cenobac a wk. ago for a UTI ( e-coli) and told to
stop BF her 7wk. old which she did. She has been regularly pumping and
wants to get the baby back BF. The urologist sent the mom to the
hospital to talk to me as to how soon she can resume BF. The nursery
nurse looked up info in Hale's And Brigg's which she stated it was
contraindicated in lactation. Too bad another drug that was compatible
wasn't used.I tried the archives to do a search on the drug but was
unsuccessful with getting through. Thanks, Roseann
