I think my last two posts were too obtuse. I just re-read them, and think I
need to cut to the chase:

Let's look at the original question:

"If  a person (LC, mother, sister, friend, etc.) has a fairly accessible
source of domperidone and...thought that it might help a breastfeeding
mother that they are working/acquainted with, would it be illegal (as in
"giving prescription medicine without a license" kind of illegal) to give
this medicine to her?

It's the *giving* of the med that I consider to be problematic here. Giving
a medicine--i.e. handing it to a person, which is what was implied
here--would, in my unlearned opinion, create potential legal jeopardy.

So, although I'm not an attorney, that' my take on this.
