Mom & baby doing just fine, baby gaining rapidly.  Sounds as if her milk 
came in on Wed night/Thurs AM (w/o engorgement) after a 4:30 PM Saturday 
birth -- so, about 4 1/2 days [døgn!].  She took no galactogogues.  I think 
she more or less followed my Wed. AM suggestion to spend most of her time 
in bed nursing the baby skin to skin.  She used the SNS supplementer twice, 
1/2 oz formula each time, once Wed evening and once Thurs AM.  It sounds as 
if her milk was coming in around then anyway.  In hindsight maybe she 
didn't need the supplementer and formula at all.  That is, she probably 
didn't need them to ensure the baby got enough.  She may have needed that 
first half-ounce to give herself a real nap early Wed. night, and she 
certainly needed some kind of *plan* for that night to keep her going 
through Wednesday.
It's a pleasure to call her now and hear her usual calm cheerful steady 
voice instead of the trembling, frightened exhaustion of Wednesday morning!
