It is a rare possibility, and I do not know how to test for it.  The fact
that sister and grandma had the same problem is especially intriguing. I am
curious as to whether they experienced orgasm with sexual activity?  I don't
know how important oxytocin is to orgasm, but they are connected.

Do gently explore the possibility of psychological inhibition. I have had
one case of a mom who said she did not go into labor on her own and
eventually had to be induced with all four of her children, and whose milk
never let down. By coincidence or by correlation, she also had a horrendous
history of being sexually abused from age 2 on up and her therapist
theorized that there might have been psychological inhibition.  It is worth
exploring.
