Karen Z. wrote about an infant who takes abm while mom is away who now has a
"virus" and is taking pedialyte during the day and nursing in the evening
when mom is home. It sounds like the physician recommended "days" of
pedialyte (or at least this partial pedialyte feeding). This sounds very
unsafe to me. Pedialyte, as a rehydration solution, would usually only be
used for 6-12 hours.

Don't have knowledge about abm to offer an opinion on what would be a better
choice for the supplements than the soy. But, I think that the baby should
get off of that pedialyte, if in fact it has been used for more than a day.

Let us know how it turns out, Karen.
