I wonder what would happen if someone contacted the press about this
situation of Ross and the AAP?  Doesn't the public have a right to know?
Would one get slapped with a liabel suit? or can things be written as an
editorial, sort of an "in my opinion," tact?

What say you lawyers, writers, etc on this list?  I just often think that
it's only us breastfeeding professionals, advocates who get to suffer the
tightening in our gut and elevation of blood pressure while the very people
who are being hoodwinked and who we're striving to protect, parents (and the
poor innocent babes) remain clueless. (Sure the few moms and Dads I reach in
my BF classes come out a bit more informed but that's a drop in the bucket.)

The lack of power we seem to have and the angering, helplessness one feels
from canned responses to legitimate outrage is so draining and frustrating.
I'm sure we all feel this way to one extent or another.  Perhaps it's a
rhetorical question, but why must we be so powerless?
