Allyson - I am confident she is also benefiting greatly from your support, even from afar.  I am here today (as a mother of 2 breastfed boys, a LLLL, and IBCLC) because a LLLL cheered me on 11+ years ago!

Incidentally, my first child has a very prominent labial frenulum which our pediatrician recommended clipping.  His Dad and grandmother also have these with a wide gape between the front two teeth which was closed with braces and opened right back up again once the braces were removed.  Amazing how much impact that labial frenulum can have!
