Dear Valerie, Thank you for your poignant words. They made me humble and
thankful for the things I have.
I wanted to have 4 children, but when I was in my mid-30s, my husband
became chronically ill, and I developed hypertension, so I denied myself
that last baby. I have always been very, very grateful for my three great
kids, but there has been tucked away in a secret place inside me a grief
for the fourth that never was.
