If she has problems with bleach fumes, I'd suggest she may be using too
strong a solution, or is using it straight or undiluted. Normally, a 10%
solution in a spray bottle is the acceptable dilution for disinfecting
surfaces around the house. That's one part bleach to 9 parts water. One cup
of straight bleach in a load of laundry, or a small dollop in the stool
water is sufficient. Proper solutions are acceptable to most people and
should not produce fumes - except when pouring. Just don't hang your face
over it.
