The skin in epidermolysis bulosa is very fragile, and those blisters
break very easily. If there are not blisters on the breasts, mom can
breastfeed, but she will need to be careful how she positions the baby
to avoid breaking blisters where the baby contacts her. Infection
control for the broken skin is another important issue.
