*The* book on morning sickness is "No more morning sickness" by Miriam
Erick, RD, MS. *The* video on morning sickness is "Morning Sickness:
All day and All Night", based on the book. Both are available many
places (I've seen the book in bookstores), but also available from
Childbirth Graphics.

I would recommend that the woman who is having the problem, read the
book herself. Giving ideas to her can help, but one of the best things
about this book is the assurance to the mother that it is not "in her head",
and helping her work through what might work for *her*. Even though I
had only mild morning sickness, on the day it was the worst, I took the
book home from work, read it all and felt *mentally* better. I then used
just a few of the tips and was able to prevent many problems.

It gives fabulous tips on how to break the cycle of morning sickness.
And just to throw in my .02 worth of advice, don't forget that hunger can
be a major factor in morning sickness. If you can break the cycle, keep
eating and don't let yourself get too hungry! And I also agree - eat
whatever sounds good!

24 weeks and feeling great!)
