HI. Macrobid, according to Tom Hale's book, is approved for use in bf moms
by the AAP.  It should not be given to babies of one month or less (at
least that is how I read it, ) and there are a few other situations where
it can't be given, but I don't see why this client is pumping, and dumping,
unless a mother with a baby under 1 month should not get it through milk
even. I am confused by Tom's monograph on this drug. I will ask him.
