I find this line of discussion/comparison interesting, as  to the best of my knowledge, virtually all US based programs for SLPs, PTs, and OTs are *at least* Master's level, and some have moved toward Doctoral programs.

It seems to me that the educational requirements to become an ibclc help demonstrate the ability to read (and then incorporate) new literature into one's practice.
