Together with Darillyn Starr I am conducting a study of how women have
attempted breastfeeding the older adopted child (4 months or greater at
adoption). We are in the process of recruiting mothers who are willing to
share their experiences and are interested in both mothers who were
successful in weaning their child to the breast and those who were not. If
any of you are aware of women who may wish to participate I have an
introductory letter that explains the study that I would love to give them.
I'd appreciate your help in locating participants.

There is such a dearth of information on this topic we are really hoping
that we might be able to fill the gap a little and provide more infomation
than is currently in the literature which consists of "the older the child
the harder it is" and is not very helpful!
