I don't think it is necessary to use lactose free milk for breastfed
babies.  The lactose intolerance that many children suffered after
gastroenteritis was, at least in part, due to the starvation we induced
by withdrawing all food and milk products.

Feeding through lactose intolerance, *especially breastfeeding*, unless
extremely severe is the way to go.
