I thought Medihoney was sterilized with gamma irradiation.  I would think 
they are basically aiming for the Clostridium botulinum bacteria. The 
bacterium has to grow to produce the toxin botulinum.......if it's not 
there, it won't grow, right?

Re: mom with nipple falling off, even if she used regular honey, I doubt the 
baby would be nursing on that side :-(  She should be told tho about the 
consequences on infant getting regular honey. If she can pump, she can dump 
that milk.  Pat in SNJ
