The nurses at my hospital had an inservice by the Nestle rep yesterday
stating that Good Start has 100% Whey so it is easier to digest.
Nurses were impressed.
My question is do we want 100% whey for the duration of formula feeding? It
gave me a golden opportunity to explain to the staff that breastmilk ratio of
whey to casein changes as bfing duration goes on and the reason for it.
What is the rationale for this in that formula? Any explanations would help.
