Hi. I'm not sure of your individual positions on the death penalty, but
I wanted you to know that I just signed a petition on-line that is
calling  for an international moratorium on the death penalty and I
thought some of you, at least, might be interested in joining me. The
organization is called Moratorium 2000 and is being championed in the
U.S. by Sister Helen Prejean, author of Dead Man Walking. It only took
me a few seconds to sign it and in December Sr. Helen will be presenting
all of the signatures to the United Nations for Human Rights Day. Check
it out if you have a chance, it is for a great cause.
