Lactnetters,
Another Lactnet Lunch has been held!  Five of us traveled from all corners of
the metropolitan NY area and met Aug. 26 at a great little Italian restaurant
in the Bronx.  We had a wonderful time talking, laughing, and getting to know
each other in person.  After having read one another's posts, it felt more
like a reunion than a meeting.  Good company, good food, lots of Lactnet
conversation.  We highly recommend you gather up some Lactnetters in your own
locale and have a Lactnet Lunch yourself! : ))

Those who attended are:
Evi Adams, who lives further away (Israel) and closer (the Bronx until
September) than most who attended and was wearing a unique breastfeeding
necklace;
Sarah Friend Barnett, Bronx, NY, our Lactnet restaurant maven who choose a
great place for lunch that was convenient and served up delicious food;
Christine Dobkins, Midland Park, NJ, who conceived the idea of a NY lunch and
set the wheels in motion;
Catherine Watson Genna, Queens,  NY, who many of you know as the NYC IBCLE
exam proctor, and who is also an amazingly skillful driver in NYC traffic;
And, me, Joyce Blangiardo, Rockville Centre, NY who is still smiling at the
thought of each of us having met  4 more of our 1000 closest friends!
