Dear Jody:  I have been off Lactnet for several days due to mainframe probs
at my university so I missed the bruhaha to which you are referring, so
rather than comment on that I just wanted to say,

Be strong and COMPLETELY ignore your naysayers.  Keep on with what you are
doing.  If you let other people dictate your actions in this area, you will
likely have bitterness and regret that you just didn't do what you wanted.
