Hi All,
I have a question. I was asked today by a Mom if it was OK to take a
vitamin supplement to assist her with weight loss. I don't even begin to know
where to look for the answer. To tell you a little about this "supplement",
it contains amino acids, which are L-Arginine, L-Gylcine, L-Lysine. The
other products that are in it are Vit C, Pyridoxine, and Chromium Picolinate.
Apparently, as told to me by the Mom, this combination of amino acids is
somehow supposed to stimulate the "growth hormone" and increase metabolism.
It is to be taken at night on an empty stomach. Her child is 14 months old,
but still nursing quite frequently. Do any of you know if this would be safe?
Thanks in advance for any info!
Please e-mail me privately in addition to lactnet.
