Cathy B. - Thanks for your post re frustration with women who '"want to
breastfeed"
but just don't seem to be able to do what it takes to make it happen.  When
you related that with the intention many of us have to diet I finally could
relate without
blaming myself for those moms we work with for weeks who never quite get to
fully
braeastfeeding.  We send them off from Clinic with a written plan, asking
whether or
not they feel like they can follow it, yet for some they clearly find they
can't but won't say so next visit.  We try to give them options, but I guess
just have to know we've
done our best, and yes we cannot breasrfeed their baby for them..  Thanks for
easing my mind!
