I would be very concerned that progesterone might lower her milk
production.   Progesterone helps to prevent women from lactating during
pregnancy and the drop of progesterone after expulsion of the placenta
triggers increased milk production.   Actually , women with retained
placenta often do not produce much milk until the retained fragment is
removed.    Eileen
