Hello all,
Our NICU is a wide open space. Privacy for breastfeeding is provided by placing 2-3 old screens around the mom and baby during breastfeeding and skin to skin. The screens are awkward and inconvenient. I requested curtains on tracks which could be tied back when not in use. I've been told that the curtains would have to be taken down and cleaned after each baby is moved out of the space and this would be too much work and costly (yet another reason for moms not to breastfeed). What do your NICU's do for privacy? If you have curtains, are they really taken down after each baby?
Thanks in advance!
