I continue to be very disappointed in Medela for not following the code,
puts us in a very difficult place. We are having a Baby Fair next month, we
will use nothing from Medela for it, instead another company will be there;
one that is code compliant.
It is also of note that my Medela rep has apparently written me off since I
have complained several times about their lack of Code compliance. He
doesn't call on us any more, I did get a generic e mail from him that was
sent to a mass of LC's in the area, last week, but that was the first I had
heard from him in MONTHS - Id say that is pretty poor customer service.
After replying to his e mail he said he would be in my area the end of the
month.... pretty sad huh?
I expected more of a company like Medela, but I'm not getting it.

A further followup on this issue: Medela is continuing to advertise
bottlefeeding in a naturalising/idealising way to mothers and
mothers-to-be. 

The blog Dou-la-la just spotted this sign at a big baby store, having
found that the store had discontinued notices for community-based
breastfeeding support groups and independent birth classes:
