My 5 month old seems to be experiencing the 2nd phase of overactive letdown
reflex.  He still nurses well through the night, but through the day he
often refuses, or pulls away screaming moments or sometimes minutes after
beginning to nurse.

Here's the strange part:  While he had a cold for ~9 days last month, he
nursed BEAUTIFULLY.  His stools were bright yellow (they're normally
greenish) and his demeanour was happy and content.  (Normally he's a bear
with glimmers of happiness shining through).

Has anyone heard of anything like this?

PS - He's never been offered a bottle, does not use a pacifier, and he
shares my bed.
