Dear Friends, I have been no mail for sometime but I had to share these
items with the Lactnet Community.
The 11/2/97 Sunday Des Moines Register carried a story on the front page of
the Business section that told about some local companies that were hiring
Lactation Consultants and having designated BF rooms so that the valuable
employees were more likely to come back to work sooner and that they would
be absent less.  It really was a very pro BF article with I nice color
picture and located on the front page of the business section were the
target audience (Non BF friendly Managers and company CEO's might see it)
 The author of the article was Lynn Hicks and the general letter to the
editor email address of the DSM Register is [log in to unmask]

The other item I have to share is the image of the reverse of the Hungarian
1000 Forint note.  It features the image of a statue of a mom BF an infant.
 The words under the statue say "Medgyessy Ferenc FEC"   If anyone would
like to receive a *.jpeg file with this scanned image let me know via
private email and I will forward a file with the image attached for your
viewing.  Keep in mind that this is a graphics file and the size is about
185K.  Respond to [log in to unmask] via private email as I am still
