Been there, done that.
After 32 surgeries on my hip and several of them during breastfeeding, I've
heard this one before. Not true. The relaxin, if that's the problem, is from
the preganacy. I think it takes 3 months to return to normal.
In the meantime, there is a special pelvic girdle that mom's can wear for this
problem during pregnancy. Why couldn't she wear one of them now? Call a local
orthopaedic appliance maker. She may need an Rx but it is a simple solution.
