Thank you to everyone who has responded to my post. I made a nice collection
of references and posted to the OB.

Heather, you were right about him being dogmatic. He is also very arrogant
and he many times verbally humiliates women on his discussion website. He
has his own rules. There is no argument, he only answers questions. That is
why I had to ask him questions first, then all I could do was sending him
references. I hope he reads some.
He said he doesn't like when someone creates a religion out of a natural
body function (means breastfeeding).
He has a written text, he calls it childbirth class. He says things like:
"giving birth is very painful, very unpleasent. Do exactly what your doctor
or midwife say. Do not argue with them. Let your doctor decide about
episiotomy. Even if it is unnecessary, let him do it."
I would not have him as my OB!

Oh, and he says, 10 months of breastfeeding is enough, only the mother needs
it after. Haven't we heard these words before?

Warmly,
Ibolya
