Hello all! Of all the people I know, I thought I'd run this one by you,
because, I think you may be able to relate...

Today one of the abm reps had a catered lunch delivered to the OB unit for
the staff. The lunch was scheduled by the unit clerk and posted for a few
days now. I had not thought I'd be on today and found myself there on a busy
unit, hungry and smelling the aroma of delicious Italian food from a nearby
restaurant. When the rep invited me to lunch, I thanked her for the offer
and then went about my buisness. When the staff noticed I didn't join them,
I was stopped by one of the nurses and asked if I'd like a plate to go as I
was off to a meeting with a group of physicians to discuss breastfeeding.. I
thanked this nurse politely, and explained my position, first that I had a
meeting and secondly that I wasn't comfortable eating food bought with abm
money. She looked at me like I was nuts. I smiled and went about my way,
stopping at Subway for a sandwich, with money I earned from a noble cause.
Now tell me, would you have eaten that catered lunch today???
