Hello all-Does anyone have any suggestions for anti-anxiety meds that are compatible with breastfeeding? Most that I have looked up have really long half-lives and although L3, it appears caution is advised. Ativan appears to have a shorter half-life, so that might be more compatible than others? The psychiatrist is not very helpful-telling the mom to "just watch and make sure the baby doesn't get too sleepy". That advice is really concerning because one of the meds he prescribed is an L4 that I really don't feel comfortable w/mom using as I feel there must be other alternatives out there. Baby is young-8 weeks-so of course the long half-lives are more concerning. Thanks in advance
for any info you have.
