in the area.  Here is another letter I am going to be sending out this week
to selected MD's and RN's (and LC's of course).  Any suggestions?  (This
letter seems to be as short as the last one was long...)



Invitation to Join LRH's Breastfeeding Project Team


Dear  ____________:

We would like to invite you to join us in an exciting new project to
improve breastfeeding at Logan Regional Hospital.  We are forming a team of
professionals with expertise in this area to help implement the new IHC
breastfeeding guidelines and, where necessary, adapt them to our unique
situation.  We expect to meet biweekly to get a complete breastfeeding
support system in place, then as needed to adapt to changing situations and
new developments in the field of lactation.

You were selected as someone who could make a valuable contribution to the
team.  We hope that you are excited by the idea of change and the
opportunity to better support breastfeeding for our patients, to give each
baby the best start we can.
