I believe this is one of those gray areas--you're not going to find a law
specifically addressing the situation. Instead, it will depend on the
policies/dictates, and yes, even whims, of the social services
agencies/individual caseworkers involved.  Mom may want to have information
about adoptive nursing at her disposal, in case it is questioned--maybe
wants to give it to the person who said it was okay, just in case there's a
problem later.   I'm more suprised that the toddler breastfeeding is not an
issue for the social services people.
