Nikki writes:

I wonder what the significance of treatment in pregnancy for problem
nipples in cultures where breastfeeding is NOT the norm, versus treatment in
Thailand, where breastfeeding IS the norm, account for the different results.

~~~ Very astute, Nikki. I would  think that the cultural context of the
information might have a huge effect on  how the information is used,  what it
means, and  how moms work with it, indeed. It  might not, but then again, it
would  help explain the differences  in outcome, sounds  reasonable, and
certainly bears keeping in mind.
Peace,
Judy
