I think that this situation is essentially no different than the adoptive mom
who wants to nurse and I would support her fully if she chose to do this after
you explain the relative risks.  Encourage her to pump, use an SNS  with the
other mom's ebm prn and use meds to help her milk come in if needed.  If she
breastfeeds long term could  it decrease her risk of breast cancer/ovarian
cancer? (do adoptive mom's who breastfeed ever stop menstruating?  Many women
would consider that alone a big plus).
