I've done a little researching on this company since the posts first
directed us to it and I've come to the conclusion that this company
(which has an address here in my hometown but neither my dh or I have
ever heard of it) has several "arms", one of which provides equipment as
Valerie described. From the reference to it's collaboration with a
California college or company (can't remember which) it would seem that
it also has some participation in formula ingredient experimentation.
That would mean it has a financial stake in this industry, along with
ties to it. It's just curious to me that it is a member of this IFC and
wrote a letter to the FDA along with all the major formula
manufacturers. I'm sure there are other companies (Martek for one) with
similar ties who did not write a letter. It's also curious that there
isn't more on the internet about this company or at least this "arm" of
it.
